Mark Griffin - Owner

Born in Oxnard, raised in Camarillo,the son of the late (Russell G. Griffin)  Mark graduated in 1978 from Camarillo High and attended Moorpark college. While working in the Family business he wanted to follow his father's footsteps so he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1980. After completing a six year enlistment Mark was Honorably discharged in 1986 he went on to pursue a career as a Firefighter/EMT with a local fire dept. In early 2007 the opportunity to finally pursue his father and uncle (Thomas L. Griffin) profession was possible, he became co owner of Griffin Family Funeral chapels with his brother Tim and brother in law James Bond. Mark is a single Father of two children Jennifer and Michael Griffin, who all reside in Camarillo with him. Mark is very proud to be a part of the family business and serving the Communities of Camarillo and all of Ventura county.

Timothy Griffin - Owner

Tim was born in Oxnard and has lived his entire life in Camarillo. He graduated from Camarillo High in 1975 and began his long career in the family business working with his father Russell and uncle Thomas Griffin ,co-founders of Griffin Brothers Funeral Chapels. He stayed with the business after it was purchased by Pierce Brothers in 1984 and later by SCI. Tim was selected Funeral director of the year in 2000 having demonstrated exceptional performance to his colleagues. In 2007 he left SCI to become co-founder and an owner of Griffin Family Funeral Chapels which had been a life-long desire of his. He is proud to carry on the Griffin Heritage in the Funeral Homes that his father and uncle Tom built in Camarillo and Thousand Oaks. Tim  has served many families in both communities over the last 34 years and looks forward to caring for many more in the future. Tim lives in Camarillo with his dog,John Deere, and cat Tigger. He is a true Dodger fan!

James Bond D.V.M. - Owner

Born in Moorpark, raised in Somis, Jim graduated from Camarillo High in 1969. He attended Ventura College and received a B.S. and D.VM. from U.C. Davis. He was a small animal practice owner in Santa Barbara ('79-'94) and Ennis, Montana (’95-’06). In 2007 he returned to Camarillo and earned his Funeral Director’s License to open and operate Griffin Family Funeral Chapels. Jim has been happily married to Cynthia Griffin since 1976 and they have 3 adult children and one grand-daughter who all reside in Bozeman, Montana. He has been associated with the Griffin family since 1967 and is extremely pleased to be serving the community‘s needs with the family business.

Greg Kusnierek - Licensed Funeral Director

Greg was born in Chicago, raised in Ventura County and graduated from Newbury Park High in 1979. He has over 17 years of experience in the Funeral industry as a Licensed Funeral director and Crematory Operator. He has gained extensive knowledge and a sincere desire to meet the needs of every family he serves diligently with compassion. Greg has been married for 17 years and resides in Thousand Oaks with his wife, two daughters and two dogs.
