Itsu Kuriyama Eubanks, 79, of Thousand Oaks, went to be with her Lord and Savoir, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, April 8, 2010. Itsu was born on Dec. 18, 1930 in Niigata, Japan, and has been a Ventura County resident for the past 15 years after moving here from Williamsburg, Va.

She is survived by her daughters, Doris Johnsen and husband Tom, and Alice Shaw and husband Gary. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Eric and Kevin Johnsen; Stephen, Hannah, Joanna, Susanna, Jonathan and David Shaw, as well as her great-grandchildren, Braden Johnsen, Samantha Shaw and Matthias Shaw. Itsu has also left behind her brother, Shosaku, and other relatives living in Japan.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 17, at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park, Camarillo. All are welcome to attend.
