Jeanette R. McQuade, age 84, of Thousand Oaks, beloved mother, passed away on May 6 in Santa Barbara.

Jeanette was born on October 29, 1925 in Toledo, Ohio and has been a Ventura County resident for the past 46 years. She was very active in the community and loved spending time with her family.

She sadly leaves behind her daughter Deborah McQuade of Santa Barbara, son Sean McQuade of San Diego, son Brian McQuade of Thousand Oaks, and daughter Wendy Gray of Ojai. She also leaves behind her 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 9 from 5-7 p.m. at Griffin Family Funeral Chapels, Thousand Oaks, and a Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Monday May 10, at 11 a.m. at St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church, Thousand Oaks with a burial to follow at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks Memorial Park at 2 p.m.
