Donna Mae Embry, 70, of Thousand Oaks, CA, passed away June 8, 2010 at home.

Donna was born on Sept. 13, 1939 in Tyndall, South Dakota and has been a Ventura county resident for the past 40 years after moving here from Rapid City, South Dakota.  She was a retired Microbiologist in area hospitals for the past 30 years.  Donna enjoyed helping others and serving  God in the Lutheran Women’s Association and  Habitat for Humanity.

She leaves behind her son’s Ken Embry of Thousand Oaks, and Mike Embry (wife Chrystal) of Fennville, MI, grandchildren Paige Embry, Landon and McKensey Hillman, as well as her brother Ron Wright(wife  Vicki)  of Alamogordo, NM. She also leaves behind 1 niece and 2 nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 12, at 10:00 am at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Thousand Oaks, with Pastor Janet Hansted Meadors presiding.
