Joyce Elaine Cripe, 74 of Thousand Oaks passed away Wednesday December 28, 2011 in Thousand Oaks.

She was born October 21, 1937 in Boone, Iowa and was a resident of Ventura county for 30 years. Joyce was a retired nurse. She was extremely active with the volunteers in policing program in Thousand Oaks, R.S.V.P. advisory board and the Los Robles Home Care professional advisory board. But most of all Joyce loved spending time with her family.

She is survived her son John Cripe, daughter Carole Cain, sister Jolene Crandell and grandson Dylan Cain, whom she cherished very very much.

A Service will be held Saturday January 7, 2012, 3 p.m. at the Griffin Family Funeral Chapels in Thousand Oaks with Chaplain Mike McDonald officiating.
