Phil had a great love of God, family, baseball and Bridge. He took pride in that he continued playing baseball until the age of 80. He was an avid Bridge player until the time of his passing. Phil was an active and devoted member of St. Paschal Baylon Church for over 47 years. During most of his working years he supported his family as a real estate broker. Phil was a World War II veteran. He is survived by his loving and caring wife of 61 years, Mary Anne; seven children: John Allawos, Marlene Hallack (Rich), Marsha Allawos, Jim Allawos (Susie), Michelle Crofford (Jim), Jeff Allawos, Joey Allawos; 11 grandchildren: Barbara, Amanda, Michael, Julianne, James, Ashley, Jonathon, Tammy, Jared, Brielle, Kailey; and one great-grandchild, Logan. Phil's passing from life into death will be celebrated in a funeral mass at St. Paschal Baylon Church at 10:30 a.m., with a viewing beginning at 10 a.m., on Friday, Jan. 13. Burial will be at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park. |








Phil J. Allawos, a longtime resident of Thousand Oaks, died peacefully in his home with his family by his side on Jan. 7, 2012.
