He graduated from Samuel Gompers High School and began a 40 year career in the construction industry as a cement mason. He married Louise in 1958 and moved to California in 1978. Henry was an accomplished pianist with a love of classical music. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, discussing politics, history and especially opera. He liked reading, gardening, photography, travel and computers. Henry was a member of the ICF club at St. Paschal. Henry is survived by his wife, Louise, son Joseph (wife Marilyn), daughter Elizabeth Mian (husband Tony) and five grandchildren: Joseph, Jenny, Natalie, Anthony and Paul. Henry was a very kind, thoughtful, generous and loving man. His mix of wisdom and humor was appreciated by all those who knew him. His curiosity and joyful demeanor found its way into the hearts of everyone he met. Henry will be missed by many, but his friends and family continue to carry on the priceless values he instilled in all.
