Diane (Dee) Joerger, 73 of Thousand Oaks, CA passed away Tuesday January 10, 2012 in Thousand Oaks after a lengthy illness.  She was born December 16, 1938 in Marshalltown, Iowa and was a resident of Ventura County for 44 years moving here from Iowa.  Diane was a retired teacher’s aide for the Conejo Valley Unified School District after 21 years.  She was active in PTA, Bobby Sox Softball and as a Girl Scout Leader.  But most of all she loved time with family and friends.  Diane is survived by  her husband Bill Joerger of Thousand Oaks, daughter Michelle (Steve) Sandborn of South Lake Tahoe, CA , son David (Wendi) Yeager of Arvada, CO , son Scott (Tiffany) Joerger of Thousand Oaks, CA , 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and brother Mark (Sharon) Thede of ft. Myer’s, FL.

A Mass will be held Saturday January 14, 2012, 10:00 A.M. at Saint Paschal Baylon Church, 155 Janss Road, Thousand Oaks with a burial to follow at Assumption Cemetery, 1380 Fitzgerald Road, Simi Valley.  Memorial donations may be made in Diane’s name to the American Lung association.
